In 2005 Justine Durrell, with co-counsel Ronald B. Schwartz, settled a mold case involving unique injuries to the immune system for over $3.5 Million. Ms. Durrell also settled three priest abuse cases against the Oakland Diocese in 2005 for over $3.4 Million.

Ms. Ramsey and Ms. Durrell were co-founders of RockRose Institute in 2005 which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance non-violent conflict resolution through education, improved communication and a deeper understanding of justice. As founding members, both attorneys were co-presenters of a day long peace building conference on October 15, 2005 in San Francisco. Conflict Resolution through Justice, Religion and Education, A World Forum, is planned for February 1-3, 2007 in San Francisco. Building on her article published in October, 2002 in TRIAL magazine entitled, "Can the law handle human cloning?", Ms. Durrell is currently working on a book on biotechnology torts and expects publication of the first chapter in fall/winter 2006.
